Made From Premium OG Kush
Made With All Top Lab Grade Equipment
Purged at the Correct Temperature for 100+ Hours
A legendary strain favoured by connoisseurs, OG Kush has skunky and piney aroma and a sour lemon taste that results in a euphoric high. The weed is not meant for amateurs — the potency of Kush-based shatter is so strong, in fact, that it can surprise even the most experienced smokers.
The effects of this shatter can last for up to three hours, and it is ideal for evening and nighttime use. It contains a high level of CBD — a chemical that offers various therapeutic benefits — making it popular for medicinal purposes.
Some reports even claim that the strain can provide deep muscular relaxation and long-lasting relief from stress, anxiety, nausea, headaches, depression and other conditions like migraines, attention deficit disorder and Alzheimer’s disease.
We make our OG Kush using top-grade lab equipment and purge them at the correct temperature for over 100 hours. As a reputable dispensary in Canada, we carry pharmaceutical-grade shatter made only by master craftsmen with extensive experience with BC bud.
A History of OG Kush
The Kush cannabis variety traces its roots to a region called the Hindu Kush, an area that shares its boundaries with Afghanistan and Pakistan. Located north of Jammu and Kashmir, the area has a history of cannabis and hashish production. The hillsides and fertile valleys of Hindu Kush produced the world’s finest hash.
The rise of the self-appointed president Mohammad Daud Khan in 1973, ended the monarchy of hashish-friendly Mohammad Zahir Shah. Khan declared the sale and production of hashish illegal, which momentarily stalled its production.
Even in the wake of the coup by Afghan communists in 1978 and the Soviet invasion in 1979, the production of Afghani hashish continued. In fact, the indica-dominant properties of the weed made it possible to grow the plant all away up to Alaska.
OG Kush makes up the genetic backbone of cannabis varieties from the West Coast. While it has mysterious origins, records show that the strain arrived in Los Angeles in 1995 along with Bubba Kush, another type of cannabis strain. Today, Kush strains are most prevalent in California.
